The place has a charm of its own. You enter the place and you start appreciating the recycling genius of the interior designer. The décor has been done by mostly using old articles, elements, props and damaged electronics and things. Even the washroom has tin metal doors and it makes you feel that you have been transported to a village. The county dream shatters when you spot the western loo behind the door and feel grateful.
I visited the place with my colleagues for a team lunch on a weekday. After getting the long table for 9 people without any wait, we settled in to place our order. In drinks, we have ordered for 2 sangria pitchers one white and one red. It was good and we had to order refill later. Since it was during office hours I refrained from Long Island Iced tea but it’s on my list to try it soon as the place claims that it’ll be a long long island iced tea.
In starters we have ordered, Croquettish which is croquettes made of cheese, potatoes and corn served with dried chilli and mango murabba. It was good and the murabba tasted yum. The kerala coin parathas that we have ordered was easily the star and we also repeated this one. Coin Parathas is literal to its term, as what you get is 6 coin size parathas with toppings of paneer, chicken and mutton. And they all tasted pretty awesome. We also accepted the challenge of eating Death Wings finishing which you are entitled to a free lemonade. The spicy chicken wings is hot and spicy and tasty as well. Please note the lemonade will be given only when one person finishes the entire plate and no sharing.
In food, each of us went with their choice of mains. There was one with the Jus-C Lucy burger which has tenderloin patties with lot of cheese and served with Jus & Cajun fries. Yumm. The veggie among us had only veg burger to content with. Lamb Massaman curry (lamb) served with steamed rice was descent. I liked the accompanying prawn wafers more. I have ordered for Grilled Chicken Peri Peri and was delighted with my choice. The chicken was grilled perfectly and tasted good. Served with a side of grilled veggies on the bed of rice it’s too much for one person to finish.
As we were so stuffed with the food we chose to skip the dessert. The total damage was close to 9k among the 9 of us. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our server was ever ready to refill our glasses and replace our plates. The place wasn’t crowded but it had a descent amount of crowd. The bar area looked quite interesting and they also have a separate smoking zone.
